Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: January 31, 2026
Our Commitment to Accessibility
The Frontier Security Brief is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe that everyone should have access to important information about national security and regional challenges, regardless of their abilities or the technologies they use to access our content.
We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all of our users.
Accessibility Standards
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Website Platform and Accessibility Features
Built on Wix
This website is built using the Wix platform. Wix has done all coding on your site to make it as accessible as possible, including many back-end accessibility features and configurations such as:
Automatic Platform Features:
-
Keyboard Navigation: All Wix products are operable with a keyboard, allowing users who cannot use a mouse to navigate our site
-
Automatic DOM Order: The DOM is automatically arranged so visitors who use keyboards and screen readers can navigate your site from left to right
-
Correct Semantics: Components added to the site have the correct semantics built in to help people with disabilities better understand content
-
Language Settings: The site is rendered with the correct language so screen readers can understand your content
-
ARIA Attributes: Built-in ARIA attributes provide enriched accessible user experience
Wix Accessibility Wizard
We have used the Wix Accessibility Wizard to scan our site and make accessibility adjustments. The Accessibility Wizard scans our site and displays detected issues along with manual tasks, providing step-by-step guidance to fix accessibility problems.
The Wizard has helped us identify and address issues including:
-
Missing or inadequate alternative text for images
-
Insufficient color contrast
-
Heading structure problems
-
Focus indicator visibility
-
Site language settings
Known Limitations and Areas for Improvement
While we strive to make our website as accessible as possible, we acknowledge that some areas may still present challenges:
Podcast Platform Accessibility: Our podcast is distributed through third-party platforms (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, etc.) whose accessibility features are beyond our direct control. We recommend checking each platform's accessibility statement for information about their features.
Third-Party Content: Some embedded content from third-party sources (social media feeds, external videos, advertisements) may not meet the same accessibility standards as our own content. We work to minimize these limitations where possible.
Multimedia Accessibility: While we strive to provide transcripts for podcast episodes, there may be delays in producing transcripts for newly released episodes. We are working to improve our transcript production timeline.
Multilingual Content: The Accessibility Wizard is only currently supported in our site's primary language. If we add multilingual features in the future, some accessibility adjustments may need to be made manually for additional languages.
Ongoing Updates: We are aware of some areas on the website where we could improve accessibility and are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility.
Assistive Technologies
Our website has been designed using the Wix platform and is thus capable of working with commonly used assistive technologies, including:
-
Screen readers
-
Screen magnification software
-
Speech recognition software
-
Keyboard-only navigation
-
Alternative input devices
If you use assistive technology and encounter difficulties accessing our content, please contact us so we can work to address the issue.
Podcast Accessibility
Audio Content
Our primary content is delivered as audio podcast episodes. We recognize that audio-only content may not be accessible to everyone, and we are committed to improving accessibility:
Transcripts: We work to provide text transcripts for podcast episodes. Transcripts may be available:
-
On our website in the show notes section
-
Through podcast platforms that support transcript features
-
Upon request (see contact information below)
Please note that there may be a delay between episode release and transcript availability.
Episode Descriptions: Each episode includes a written description and show notes that outline the topics discussed, guests featured, and key takeaways.
Chapter Markers: When supported by podcast platforms, we aim to include chapter markers that allow listeners to navigate to specific segments of episodes.
Guest and Interview Considerations
Our podcast features interviews with experts, officials, and professionals in national security fields. We make reasonable efforts to ensure that:
-
Audio quality is clear and understandable
-
Multiple speakers are identified
-
Background noise is minimized
-
Speaking pace allows for comprehension
Forms and Interactive Features
If our website includes forms, contact features, newsletter signup, or other interactive elements:
-
All form fields have clear, descriptive labels
-
Required fields are clearly marked
-
Error messages are specific and helpful
-
Form submission can be completed using keyboard only
-
Sufficient time is provided to complete forms (no automatic timeout)
Compliance Disclaimer

We are responsible for reviewing and complying with local legislation applicable to us and to our site visitors. While we use the Accessibility Wizard and other tools, we cannot guarantee that our site will be compliant with all regional accessibility laws and regulations.
